DIY home projects for the long weekend

Take advantage of this long weekend to tick off those home projects you’ve been putting off.

Whether it’s indoors or outdoors, having the extra day to play is a great opportunity to DIY.

Just by adding a splash of colour to the walls, furniture or even in the garden can make such a difference to your home ambiance. And it’s so rewarding!

But before you head off to the local supply store, make a checklist of what you already have and what supplies you’ll need.

Once you’re at your favourite store it would be smart to advise them what jobs are you planning and to confirm exactly what you’ll need to complete your project and make it a success.

That way you won’t need to return and risk stopping the DIY flow mid-way through your renovation.

When in doubt – music, chocolate and good company is always inspirational.
